The Perfect Brew

Brewing coffee at home is one of the most common daily routines in an average household across the world. Those who can’t find the time might refrain to instant coffees; and yet, a fresh cuppa straight from a cafetiere or a filter brewer is still somewhat a post-Sunday-dinner tradition.

Although different brewing methods will deliver different effects, we tend not to think to much about the quality of the final product, adjusting it with a splash of milk and a dash of sugar if need be. And I dare to guess hardly anyone of us – me included – knows how to brew coffee properly.

When visiting Michael McCracken in his Fun in a Cup Coffee Training studio, he showed me the process of making the perfect brew – timely, but oh, so worth the hassle! Have a look before you make your desert coffee today.
