At the heart of coffee

You might have wondered why I didn’t post anything for the last week or so; do not threat, I did not abandon my coffee mission – in fact, I improved it, by combining it with a late summer holiday. I always found the saying “kill two birds with one stone” rather gruesome, but it fits here just right.

In the next few days this space will turn into my taste-travel diary from Rome – yes, this was the ultimate coffee shop destination, and it turned out to be quite an eye-opener as well. I fear that my perspective on coffee has changed significantly, so let’s hope I can still assess our local British cafes by their own measure.

For the time being watch this space for my updates from the land where coffee is more than just a pass time – it’s a symbol of a lifestyle.
